This wikileaks war video is crazy. USA helicopter lays down ground cover for troops on foot. The helicopter takes out insurgents armed with AK-47′s and an RPG. The text on the video states that a few children were injured, which I am not happy to hear about, but why are the so-called insurgents bringing their children with them? Why can’t they say “hey kid, stay home today and play some board games – I’ve gotta go to work.”
Apparently two of the victims were employees of Reuters. Kinda wondering why the employees were hanging out with insurgents carrying RPGs. Are they there getting a story? Go in the building. Why would you be hanging with a bunch of insurgents with big ass weapons when you know there’s an American Apache helicopter above?
Nothing makes sense about this wikileaks war video at all, except the fact that people get permission to shoot other people.
The troops do ask for permission to engage in every target, and permission is granted. When you’re in a war – there really is no rules. It’s win or nothing. Although at the end of the day, does anyone really win?
Not really.
