I figured out why Blockbuster closed its stores!

in Pics

I found this picture on my computer last night. Its from my cell phone from like three or four years ago when I was in a BlockBuster video store. He was in that store quite often, always dressed in his camouflage rain poncho, his funny high socks, tilted gangster hat, and all 76 of his retired years under that coat. He always went to the TV playing a recently released Blue Ray movie, and he was there from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out, to the time I walked back by the store because I had just gotten dinner at the Italian place next door.

I am almost certain that he watched at least ten free videos per week. It was probably per day, but there’s no way I could sit out front of a BlockBuster Video store and record this guy. I have my own life of video games and Internet to live, I can’t possibly watch movies with a senior citizen who may be naked under a pancho, let alone carrying a machete or a revolver.

This lead me to ask myself, and all of you – How can you not shut down your store when this guy is clearly your number one customer? He should have been paying to rent floor space, because we all know he didn’t rent any damn movies!

Maybe you may want to get a twitter icon to your blog. I just bookmarked the url, however I had to do it by hand. Simply my 2 cents.
